With the Thanksgiving holiday right around the corner, November has been a time to give thanks. However, there are too many people who don’t have much to be thankful for. Luckily, Hampstead’s Little Free Pantry is doing its part to give those people some joy and support and TRU is pleased to support them in their mission. This month, in addition to a monetary donation, we held a food drive at our corporate office and delivered close to a hundred items to the Pantry for those in need this holiday season.
Run by the North Carroll Cooperative Parish, Hampstead’s Little Free Pantry has a simple yet incredibly impactful mission: to provide food for those in need of it. It’s located in the annex of the Parish’s St. John’s Location, and anyone can drop off donations to ensure as many people as possible are provided with food.
Feeding those less fortunate than us is a year-round concern, but the impending holiday—notable for the traditional feasts we enjoy with friends and family—brings this need further into the spotlight. For anyone else inclined to make a donation or support this worthy cause, the pantry is located at this address:
