TRUCares Honors Our Military with Support

Monday, May 30, 2022, marked a somber remembrance of military lives lost during times of war. TRUCares, the community arm of TRU Management honored our armed forces throughout the month of May with a combined donation to two excellent causes that are working to aid veterans and their families in incredible ways.

Through donations to both the Wounded Warrior Project and Disabled American Veterans, we are doing our part to recognize, honor, and help those who have given so much to protect our country and keep us safe.

The Wounded Warrior Project was founded to provide help and resources to veterans and service members who incurred physical or emotional harm on or after September 11, 2001. The TRUCares donations will be used to help further the Wounded Warrior Project’s mission of helping aid in transitioning from service to civilian life for military members and their families.

Disabled American Veterans supports all generations of military veterans who have, through service to their country, incurred emotional or physical injury. The organization provides no-cost services to vets and their families, including employment services, transportation for doctor’s appointments, help with filing benefits claims, and other resources. The DAV has over 1 million members and currently boasts over 12000 chapters across the nation.

TRU Management states, “While there are many worthy causes dedicated to our military and their families, these are two that resonate deeply within our teams. It’s a privilege and an honor to help these organizations further their missions. We are pleased to honor all our American service members and look forward to supporting them in any way we can.”
